Anyone else read the “Woods Cop Mysteries” by Joseph Heyward?   Enjoying this journey into the life of a DNR Conservation Officer/Detective, Grady Service, working through Michigan’s Upper Peninsula—his love for the land and its animals.  I feel like I am learning a lot about a culture far removed from the urban environments of which I was raised.  Just ready to begin volume four out of the eight book series.  Just finished the mystery titled  “Chasing a Blond Moon” about the search for poachers and a rare blond bear. See http://www.josephheywood.com.
